This campaign was especially difficult subject matter to work on. It is had to consider a families loss a design piece, but I believe the campaign will do a lot of good. TCAF is an amazing organization and is responsible for saving many lives.
A fathers day gift for my dad.
I am a self acknowledged “voyeur of the internet.” This site is my attempt to curb that habit, starting with the “early years” and working my way to the present. There is much much more to come… Check back.
In the meantime, thanks for stopping by.
The first biennial co2 poster show was an incredible event that I am proud to be a part of. The Mesa Emerging Designers, Eli Hall and myself were able to (quickly) pull together a show with the generous contributions of over 40 designers from all over the globe. The show was a huge success and the posters were unforgettable. Below are shots from the opening. Check out the co2 facebook for more photos and to keep updated about the 2015 show.
whats better than drawing testicles for a good cause.
TCAF logo and wordmark variations
Made these delicious cookies for eli’s class. mmm…
This was a promotional piece that I created in place of a business card. Package design for the eyes and organic food for the stomach… well almost organic.
This vaginal health flyer was created for a Nurse Practitioner working on a college campus. The flyer is designed so that you can read all of the information, Cut of the practical tips for daily health, and the remainder of the form gives instruction on how to fold it into an origami vagina.
a proud moment ;)
This poster display was created for a visiting electronic artist, Steina Vasulka. Her work utilizes digital manipulations and repetition. With my limited budget I represented this by printing off several black and white posters on a laserjet printer, dipping them in magenta ink and displaying them all in a large structured grouping.
This beautiful catalogue was created following a show titled Caravanserai: Carpets, Canvas, Calligraphy, Crafts from the Middle East and North Africa, held in the Hatton Gallery at Colorado State University. The full bleed black on black foiled cover was stamped at Foils + Dies in Denver, CO. The project was art directed by Eli Hall and designed by myself. This is one of my favorite projects I have produced.
This was my response to the 2011 One Word Poster Competition. The prompt was “Half”
An awesome exercise in typography. Take a lost dog poster, re-design it and put back up in place of the previous one. I referenced the brilliant Dana Tanamachi’s style and layout to try and work on my hand lettering.
This 3-D poster is a Call for Models for the Art Directors Club of Denver 2011 Paper Fashion Show.
Together Eli Hall, Joey Gudenas, Bethany Chambers and I created an intricate hand woven dress entirely of paper.

Students in Design poster. The poster on the right was created by Joey Gudenas a colleague at CSU for an event the previous week. I took his lovely clean poster and spray painted the upcoming meeting details on top. Re-purposing at its best.
I would say this is pretty self explanatory
This was one of the first assignments in my Intro to Graphic Design class, and still stands as one of my favorites.
